Many have asked me this, so I'll answer.

Lewis fell away by one second then two seconds when compared to the pace of Leclec at the end there? Anybody know why?venkyhere wrote: ↑09 Sep 2025, 14:17Why is Fred Vasseur blatantly lying ?

If I were a German working in Italy, I would love to go "home" to Audi! I don't see why not? Would be lovely to work for maybe more poroper German team since BMW Sauber (Yes still in Switzerland, I know).. And Toyota in Cologne didn't count did it? lol
Also he’s talking about Monza- probably the most unique track on the calendar these days package wise.MB_Racer wrote: ↑12 Sep 2025, 23:12Wow this is one the funniest thing I have red for a while…

His job is probably on the line. I think Ferrari has a personnel problem. They are not based in the UK. Italy simply doesn't pay as well as the rest of Europe either to attract the best European talent - not sure if this is also a factor as I am unfamiliar with Ferrari pay.venkyhere wrote: ↑13 Sep 2025, 04:58Agree...MB_Racer wrote: ↑12 Sep 2025, 23:12Wow this is one the funniest thing I have red for a while…

A TP talking about FP3 laptimes to paint a positive picture about the car - pathetic. How desperate is Fred ? What kind of 'dressing down' did he get from the Ferrari board ? Is Ferrari as a whole, regretting signing up a superstar driver instead of a superstar car designer ?
This would be an issue for base level engineers. Once you get at the dealing table with other offers in your hand, this doesn’t apply. I am sure first and second level engineers in GeS are paid the same money than the UK ones.f1isgood wrote: ↑14 Sep 2025, 11:58His job is probably on the line. I think Ferrari has a personnel problem. I am convinced that in a budget cap era the UK teams have a much bigger advantage in terms of idea exchange from one team to another as it's simply not as hard for personnel to move between teams. Moving to Italy, integrating especially with families is a much more trickier proposition.
Unless they nail the next regulation, it will be a repeat again.
Ferrari should just open a UK base. They might benefit from it.
Given the budget cap, if you are on the dealing table, you have to signficantly overpay for the same top engineer that some other UK team might want to pay less for. It adds up quickly. If Ferrari's only way to get people to move to Italy is by overpaying more than their competition, they are already at a loss.MattLightBlue wrote: ↑14 Sep 2025, 18:36This would be an issue for base level engineers.
