Nothing will come of it- if it’s anything then it will be ‘clarified’ but as we all know driver aids are banned and that looks like a driver aid to me.
Maybe they’ll get a big spanner out again to show the FIA that it’s nothing.
One things for sure, if the guy in the video has only just noticed it- the other teams will already be aware of it

I'm curious about why the paddock perception and even with Red Bull and some here is that Singapore would "prove" something? Of the last 9 race weekends, Singapore is the most outlier circuit remaining. All slow speed Monaco set ups. No overtaking whatsoever. Why would Singapore therefore be a benchmark? Monza and Baku are similar to Las Vegas and Mexico. That makes 4 of the final 9 rounds closer to each other than anything like Singapore which has no comparison in the rest of the calendar.

Sure it would be positive to do well there, but Singapore is more of a one-off than Monza and Baku are. It starts to get silly to keep calling a circuit range of which at least 4 of the last 9 races will be contested in as the "one-off". If anything it's Mclaren (or rather their drivers), that still have to prove that they can win races outside of a circuit like Singapore where they don't have a 1 second advantage. A Mclaren 1-2 in Singapore will not tell us anything about the rest of the year because there are no more circuits like Singapore coming up.

I guess its purely a benchmark from a title perspective. If Red Bull can beat McLaren there I think they actually can win everything else left modulo things going terribly wrong.

And once Max is on a run of wins we will see McLarens weakness show it's face. Especially with regard to their drivers. I think things will change quickly. Momentum is a very important thing.

Singapore should be a Mclaren track, if Verstappen wins there then he’s favourite to win them all.

It’ll be interesting to see if Verstappen suffers from understeer and if his rear tyres wear out faster than the Mclarens with a high DF wing on like in Singapore and Mexico as the current big front wing and little rear wing is certainly giving him what he needs. If he can run this combo at most of the remaining tracks then he’s going to challenge for the majority of the wins and more than likely be on pole. It’ll all come down to the high temperatures or not so high temperatures at the remaining races

I think it is not about Singapore particularly, but rather to see the new package on a different kind of track and Singapore happens to be the next in line. If it would be Hungary or Mexico or Barcelona, then it would be just as good to validate the package under different circumstances (high-df setup).
