The great partnerships

Post

There are many great partnerships in Grand Prix racing, some may be driver pairings, some may be technical, others less obvious (James Hunt & Murray Walker :D ).

I'll start with two words - Clark/Chapman

A great pairing, each feeding the genuis of the other. Each would have succeeded without the other, but together they were utterly brilliant.

Squillions of others, but you guys need some space to work with, so I stop there (for now ;))

What about Sir Frank Williams and Hill family?

First racing car of Sir Frank Williams was Graham Hill’s Speedwell Austin he drove in Oulton Park in 1961. We all know what followed in the '90s...

They did a partnership countdown in Motosport magazine a few months ago and Chapman/Clark were number one. Personally I can't argue! ...but may I thror Schuey and Brawn into the hat just to bring it up to date :-)

Not a true partnership, more Menage a Trois (can't do the punctuation!) - don't forget Byrne.
