I think that Hekki will go back to Renault now, as he is a capable driver in that team, or was before. And will be a good driver to partner Kubica.
Id expect many more announcements before the end of the week. Posibly another 4 or 5 drivers.
I think so too, but i know he won't feel free being under Kubica's shadow. Glock saw it from a far so he went off to Manor. He gets to be his own man. If Kovi went back to renault though, i would expect him to whoop Kubica. His time with Hamilton in 2009 should have matured him as a driver as well.ESPImperium wrote:I think that Hekki will go back to Renault now, as he is a capable driver in that team, or was before. I don't think so. He only wanted to come back as Massa was hurt and the team needed him.meves wrote:Schumacher to Brawn? Please discuss!
No. It's never ever ever ever going to happen.meves wrote:Schumacher to Brawn? Please discuss!
If I´m not completely senile ,Villeneuve was given a hard time by theissen and co ,as he had a contract in place and his value was publicly discussed and questioned.ESPImperium wrote:I hope Jacques doesnt come back, as we know what his last season in 2006 was like. Hopelessly outclassed by Heidfeld and a moving chicane and crash zone in the waiting. Only for him to be outclassed by Kubica who replaced him for the rest of the season with Vettel taking over the Friday driver duties from Kubica.
I just hope that USF1 can get some good drivers, one experienced F1 guy and one new to F1 guy. If they dont, i think that we are looking at the 2010 season back markers.
are you sure Marc Gene is the quick guy in the Pug?WhiteBlue wrote:I wasn't very impressed with Villeneuve's LeMan drive either. Marc Gene IMO did better this year. But to drive a "GP3" car at the end of the grid should not tax his capabilities too much. He will have fun to be in F1 again and he can always blame the car unless a rookie team mate runs rings around him. That he must obviously avoid.
Villeneuve did a decent job next to Heidfeld and did not deserve to be treated as he was, A huge BMW upgrade came in just as JV got hurt, and that helped RK tremendously, but not enough for him to better Heidfeld. RK was not better than Heidfeld, and Heidfeld was really not much better than JV... But BMW wanted the young guy(RK) in there so they could also get Vettle some seat time(friday driver)... understandable. JV was a more than capable driver in 2006, but in 2010 he may be well beyond his shelf life, but USF1 could do worse.marcush. wrote:If I´m not completely senile ,Villeneuve was given a hard time by theissen and co ,as he had a contract in place and his value was publicly discussed and questioned.ESPImperium wrote:I hope Jacques doesnt come back, as we know what his last season in 2006 was like. he had difficulties matching Nic at the beginning of the season thats´right but I
do not remember Kubica doing any better vs Nic in the rest of the season.
