and yes, sure Ferrari will buy a proper EV hypercar also later, but this model is only for losers yet and to oversee market reaction for this apple 5 seater. They're trying to open new car segment also.

Surely they could have launched a separate EV brand, maybe even Dino, to distinguish it from the main Ferrari brand.

They should have launched Dino as subbrand long ago, the rumors were longe there it would be reborn (I guess it is 20 years ago now), it would be perfect. Also they could use it for the modern retro stuff (Testarossa-design). For my liking the new Ferraris look great in most part but very too much retro-futuristic (like 1970s studies perfected with todays manufaction opportunities).
They should have launched that EV as testorossa-style-SUV (in my world as Dino) and this would have already been blasphemous, but still 1000x better than this brand-essence-killer of car.

If it bothers you so much, don't buy one. Buy a 296 or 12Cilindri instead.

As for the Luce looking like a toaster or a Nissan, the 849 Testarossa and F80 are hardly good looking cars either.

It's fun to see that, and amusing to see how Nissan Japan must have stomped on Nissan Ireland and got it taken down, at a guess. Well at least we have a generic name for Ferrari EVs... The Ferrari Leaf.
