I think that if Hamilton gets more familiar with the car, this will be the best treatment for Leclerc...
Hamilton has the mentality of a multi year champion.
He can destroy careers easily.

The best chassis story falls into the water…

The chassis could still be the best, but the problem is that people underestimated how good Mercedes' car is as a whole and assumed the PU was the only reason they were so good. A good PU can still make the difference in Monaco, but the chassis gets a bigger emphasis. The problem for Ferrari is that not only are they down on power, they're not meaningfully ahead (if at all) of Mercedes from the chassis side either.

With what we are seeing today, there is zero chance that Ferrari has the best chassis.

I think it might have been before Mercedes' upgrade, but it certainly doesn't look that way anymore. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt until next week. Monaco is a bit peculiar and Canada was quite cold.

This is Ferrari's best track and Merc's "struggle" track. Merc will be another world in Barcelona

Yes, and he has every right to be thoroughly p*ssed off. The tarmac was just bad luck but making him serve Lewis's 5 second penalty was unforgivable. Ferrari should have called Lewis in a lap later; given that Kimi hadn't yet pitted it was an easy decision.
