Lewis was so close to pole position. But P2 is still something to celebrate.

"Champion of the future"... Ridiculous. Time to have an umcomfortable discussion about Charles
what discussion ?
That he is maybe, just maybe not WC material. Quick and bloody talented, but far too inconsistent and mentally weak.
ehh relax he is not slow, he was on new brake but was doing good untill q3, enough with these kind of useless talk.. he will come back strong, i belive [-o<

also Amazing lap and recovory by lewis, amazing update by the team.. GOOD JOB to everyone at maranellow

Wow what a lap given the engine in the back of that car, would love to see the onboard, shame he didn't finish the first lap which was purple in sector one before the Red Flag

Yea given how long the straight is here i did not expect Ferrari to be competitive at all. If they can be this competitive on a track like this theyre going to be mega when the upgraded engine comes. Well done to Lewis as well

Hamilton has endorsed the chassis several times. Good job Ferrari; now improve the PU and we're on for a fight.

Leclerc needs to calm it down a bit and he'll be alright; he's relying on heroics while Hamilton leaves just the right margin.

Without Leclerc's unfortunate crash, I believe Ferrari would have gotten pole (either Hamilton or Leclerc). Leclerc's crash meant Hamilton's first lap on used tyres probably affected his reference and tyre preparation. If he had done his fastest first sector in Q3 as one would expect, he would have taken pole.

This season is set to definitively bury the discussion about Leclerc being a WC contender. Leclerc is a good driver, nothing more. He will never be champion and was never destined to be. With him easily succumbing to pressure, seeing Hamilton consistently ahead of him, he's likely to enter a downward spiral, trying his best to be ahead of Lewis and making mistake after mistake.

The good thing for Ferrari this season is that Hamilton is back to his prime, achieving good results, keeping the car clear of the barriers and getting good results. If Leclerc continues with this nonsense and throwing away important points, he'll have to sit down for an uncomfortable conversation.

3rd Podium in a row is definetely affordable. keep it up for the best Ferrari driver at this moment. 0.0064

Seems like he only lost pole because of the lack of energy

It wasn't just close to Russell, Hamilton was ahead for almost the entire lap, he lost pole on the exit of 14 because there was no more energy left, from the calculations Russell got to just about 100 meters from the line, by a hair's breadth. Sensational Hamilton and Ferrari

Charles crashes out today and suddenly Hamilton fans is quick to jump in and praise Hamilton while putting Charles down!

The definition of outperforming someone is being quicker overall in races and in qualifying. If Leclerc is hitting the wall that still does not mean Hamilton has outperformed him on performance at all.

Without problems with brakes Leclerc would be leading Hamilton by quite big margin by now, so clearly the talk about Hamilton already outperforming Charles is trolling big time.

Charles has championship potential, I would put him in the same category as drivers like Lando, George, and Oscar. Or going further back, Daniel Ricciardo, Nico Rosberg, Jenson Button and Kimi Raikkonen.

Not inevitable champions but with the right car they have the talent to get the job done.
