Good pace though. If this is the pace after the first upgrades for all the teams, McLaren is close. Let's get the second upgrade on!

I was surprised with the pace actually. Probably more surprised Mercedes wasn't faster to be fair, but still, McLaren (well Lando) were pretty much on their pace here.

Do we know what’s coming up development wise? There was a lot of talk about the North American upgrade which they have finally just finished off 2 races into Europe.
I’ve not heard any further plans- unless I’m mistaken?

Good podium for Lando. A worthy podium. Time for Mclaren to push for the first win.

Stella has said the first major upgrade is completed in Spain, now they move to a continuous development model, bringing what is ready as it is ready

That’s what I’ve heard so we can’t expect a list of 6-8 parts at a race

Lots of points for the team. Good race. Piastri a little bit behind but with OK pace.

I would say worthy podium. Lando was there close to the two Mercedes and DNFs are in the game. If Lando didn't have so many problems losing so many points from that Mercedes engine he would be up there close to Lewis. This year Lando is driving much more improved than last year.

Team seemed confident that Kimi world get penalized as well so maybe the podium was always on the cards
Finally some good luck for the team
I wonder if the front wing complications delayed what was supposed to originally come for Spain. Stella spoke of some *innovations*

Currently Norris is 86 points behind but the title is far from over. Considering what happened last year we must push with all our might. You never know what might happen.

Im concerned with piastris pace, is there a good reason why he struggles on low grip tracks when in traffic......in clean air he doesnt suffer as much iv noticed. Norris in traffic seems to be able to keep the tyres going.

This is what happened in 2024 as well. When you need to manage tires he is unable to match Norris.

In 2025 car was so good it masked his weakness.
