I believe many people offer an apology and a bow to Lewis after that. He went and did 10 qualifying laps immitating Michael Schumacher and made the strategy work. Even without the SC he would have still won with the rhythm he had. Masterclass racing.

Hamilton absolutely absurd race. Amazing strategy would have gotten us the win no matter what, but the low fuel pace on Hs was ridiculous, tyre offset or not.

Leclerc... awful luck. Guessing that it's partially his fault due to the crash for the failure, and also the badly timed VSC.

What a win from Lewis there you could see signs of his pace on those used Soft tyres because he opening the gap to Kimi which was a big surprise and then when he put on fresh tyres he was flying

Car looked miles better than the Mercedes on what is a pretty power sensitive, high speed, extreme deg track. Not a track where you would expect this car to win, since it hasn’t generally been very kind on the tyres.

This upgrade package has been monstrously good. Immediately took them from distant 2nd to firmly the fastest in race pace. The chassis and aero must be so far ahead of the Mercedes powered cars, with a large part of it likely baked in via the gearbox/chassis in irder to accomodate the FTM.

Hamilton could be in serious championship contention if the team manages to significantly reduce the power deficit with the rumoured Spa upgrade.
