Car definitely looked better at Miami. Very good double points finish.

Still a good bit behind Alpine but hopefully they are headed in the right direction especially with the weight saving parts gradually making their way to the car.

I was thinking this morning about how badly we went at Catalunya again on the weekend, then it hit me... When was the last time Williams actually did respectably at the king of testing tracks?

We won in 2012, and seemed to go well for the next 2 years, but since then we have sucked bad at this track. Surely there's a fundamental design flaw that we need to identify and change... How can we be so bad and not fix whatever is the underlining problem at this track!

It's my understanding that the prevailing view is, if a car works well at Catalunya then it's usually a decent car...

Not sure that's as true now as it used to be, with the growth of street-circuits on the calendar. Not a lot of high-speed corners on those tracks.
