Messy day so far, hard to read.
Long run pace look more competitive though

Not bad at all tbh, if they used similar qualy mode as Merc, Max would have been very competitive with Kimi, and the race pace looks very competitive vs anyone else.

Impression I had :
Lots of downforce has been added, Sector2 looks 'big four' level, however ride is nowhere as good as the other three. Too stiff, T3 camber and elevation causes three wheeling / engine cut due to traction loss, and drivers are forced to take wide-in-wide-out line without being near apex.
However, seemed like both Redbull & Ferrari were in more conservative engine modes / higher fuel modes, from what I saw of the top speed numbers, w.r.t Mercedes & Mclaren, so not sure whether the laptimes are representative.

Does it? I don't think so and Mercedes has also very little tire degradation.
