Max running lower df spec RW than isack for quali. Believe maxs spec is a step lower than the one used in fp3

Never a sign of confidence to do such changes after FP3...
Feel like they might be the slowest of the top 4 bunch but let's see.

That was a superb lap from Verstappen despite used softs. Ferrari went barely faster with new softs.

I think part of it is also that they are not quite sure which tire is the better one for the race.

Not sure why they didn't bring 4 softs into quali. One run on used in Q2 is bonkers.

I don't get why they didn't run mediums or used softs (they made it sound like he used new ones on Sky) in Q1. Should have been easily through.

Yeah, that was the big mistake. Also, wasted a new soft in Practice 3 doing only 1 qualy run and start practice.
