If only they were as clever to see how Mercedes gamed the system to win ADUO by making everyone agree to the "measure only ICE, but grant tokens for entire PU"

I did

Looking at the sharp edge, and the way it connects to the floor with the metal footplate, I think they’re using the allowed floor stay wire as part of the solution. It helps create a ridge along the water slide.

I need to read a bit more of the regs to understand where they can avoid the radius rules though.

reminds of the small strip down the side of the gma t50 as airflow goes under because of the low pressure created by the diffuser. air going over it will generate votex

Is this new for these regulations? Isn't this the 2nd loophole they are using to create the water slide?

I remember something about the rear of the slide also using a regulation about the floor in front of the rear wheel to create a sharp edge where bodywork meets floor.

Still some very clever engineers on the team who spot these opportunities.

The cable on the edge of the sidepod doesn't seem structural. I think it's just a "legality rope" made of carbon fibre.

Well imho it is bases on the IBM principe of ‚Power on Demand‘. Where capacity was only unlocked depending on the software key entered.
They did the same in the Hamilton era. Every time the competition got close the engine got a bit stronger…

Historically the reading was that a rogue IBM department developed the AS/400. That was 10x faster and 10x cheaper than their mainframe. To not kill their own business they just throttled the server. Then in a later phase they marketed it as ‘Power on Demand’
