Its madness... it goes under de radar all this stuff because of Red Bull losing to high ranking personell, but Mercedes is even worse. Ferrari and Mclaren are gaining big names engineers. Its a little bit of arrogance from Mercedes to do this to promote from within and recruit students. You have to balance it.
It's been going on for years now. Since the announcement of the CAP. The big teams nolonger have budget to pay people more. So engineers have to go to other teams to get raises.
Thanks but is not true for Ferrari, Mclaren and Aston Martin. Aston Marting is buying big since 2019. Its 7 years now and and they are constantly growing. Even with a deficit of 200-300 personall the people than came far exceeds what they lost. Mclaren two is growing.. And Ferrari is the best example. The same budget and large staff like Red Bull and Mercedes but they are constantly gaining not losing
Well Aston Martin and Mclaren, pre CAP, weren't budgeting at the same levels as RBR, Merc, Ferrari. As for Ferarri, Cardile started at Astin Martin Last July. Ferrari were so pissed about losing him, they even took Cardile to court to exent ihis gardening leave to the Max. There are a lot others.
