Decent race pace, Max couldn't get the hards working well, Hadjar had a better hard stint. Difficult to say if the Macarena would have put Max in with a chance of winning. Mekies says to Max more to come, thanks for bearing with us

decent race, unlucky with the VSC but probably it would have been a 3rd anyway

Pace was a bit strange, Max looked fast once he pitted for hards but after the two VSC's it looked like the tyres were never back in the window.

The strategy was perfect for Hadjar and good pace as well.
Well done.

Maybe Hungary will suit the car more. Slow and medium speed but then Mclaren and Mercedes upgrades could change the game.

This car is bad on harder compounds. Also really draggy.

Expecting Ferrari to be the fastest there, we'll see how much Mcl and Merc improve. Expecting RBR to be clear 4th there, but the season has been a very unpredictable esp. for the RB22.

I wonder when RBR bring their next set of updates? Dutch gp is after a 1-month break and falls exactly 2 months after the Austrian gp. The gap between Miami to Austin updates was also similar.

Fun fact: Hadjar has outscored Max over the past five races.

The biggest issues seems to be sorted out for now finally.
Need to add pure aero performance/reduce drag and drop further bit of weight to get well under the limit to play more with balast/balance.
They will rue the failed Suzuka upgrade in terms of budget cap but the good thing is many well paid/big names left anyway so there should be something left

Still think this car can win at least one race this year, let's go.

Do we know what happened to Max at the end of the Kemmel straight on lap 1? No battery due to his pass on Kimi or a battery issue?

He said that it deployed too much energy before Eau Rouge. That's how he got in front of Antonelli. All of the stuff is pre-mapped or out of the drivers hands, so it is what it is.

Hadjar explained it a little bit after qualifying. Much of the deployment isn't in their control. There's no button that they are pressing at that part of the lap.

Max Verstappen criticises the ADUO situation:
"I would also love an engine upgrade, but that’s not in my hands"

"Meant to be [the best one], but when you look at qualifying, it doesn’t really look like it, does it? So, I don’t know what to say."

I'm just surprised Red Bull are not making more noise about this, esp. Mekies should be putting pressure on the FIA every week. What an absurd situation.

This is where Horner's absence is really felt. He would have raised such a stink, that liberty would've stepped in and removed the ADUO from Mercedes and given to Redbull, rightly so (FIA is a puppet anyway).
