Yes, you could see it flip on Fornaroli's run a minute ago. Looked fast, I think Ferrari style but I'm not sure.

At 36:54 to the end you can see it flip back.

this was mentioned also by AR3-GP. I watched it tens of time and it could be.

It would be very nice if someone will make a comparison between the 3 macarena versions. Similar but different ) In moving, opening, speed of closing. This is what I like about 2026 cars, innovation is back at a higher level. I like new ideas, interesting solutions, that all the engineers had a rule book but is hard to find 2 "identical" cars.

I also noticed this.

The closing is the most important thing (imo). They could probably make it open a little bit faster but I don't think there's much gain in that.

On the team stream they showed a message to Fornaroli that the wing was working well and he can now close it at 20m before braking. They seem to be testing how close to braking they can make it and keep stability.

At least that's my reading of that message.

The old rear wing reinstalled on both #McLaren cars of Norris and Piastri after the "Macarena" test in FP1
