George was either engine or hydraulics/gearbox. They might be able to swap an existing pool engine without breaking parc ferme but if its something else he's starting from the pit lane.

When Charles was having a dud cars and made mistakes because of driving it over the limit, people were trashing him.

Now we see with Max that is easy to get it wrong when tha car won’t stick.

Is Max overrated? /s

Traditional discussion forums seem to be dying a death. People are on Reddit, Discord, Twitter etc. It’s a shame as I prefer this format.

Plenty make comments in the team threads about races, which is supposed to be a no-no but still happens.

That and there being a drift of people away from here over the years thanks to various reasons.

He is famed to bring half a second. So i guess the RB22 is 1.5 seconds down.

Joke aside. Max is obviously still up there if not the current best driver, but no driver is a god. They can only maximise their machines.

Forums are still there. Autosport is still strong.

I think it's a shame that F1-technical name was taken on Reddit before this site claimed it... It would have been good to cross-link the forum to there.

imo there just isn't much to discuss this year. Sometimes car a and driver b is quick, sometimes car c and driver d. And no one really knows why anyway.

Tbh, I never thought it was all due to the Maccarena wings the previous 2 spins (Austria Q3 and Silverstone race) because why wasn´t Hadjar also spinning with it?

I think Max´s style is just not matching the way you should driver these horrible cars and he gets frustrated and overdrivers it. Today was, clearly, completely unrelated to the rear wing´s closure as it was already closed since the previous corner.

Racing has been degrading enourmously since Pirelli entered and DRS was introduced, both in 2011. F1 has been dying ever since. This year was just another big step in that direction. People are bored of phony position swapping and what not. That and other thing I´ll address below.

Those things are here for a long time. This year has been another brutal decrease in fan´s engagement with the series.

Yup. Nobody know why car/driver combo is fast anymore. Is it due to better deployment software or is it due to a slower driver harvesting more energy and doing a faster laptime overall ?!

Everything became even more artificial. Tomorrow there will be some yoyo racing and the usual members will come here to tell how marvelous it is but most fans are drifting out from F1 since ages. (Just look at tv ratings on Germany, Italy, Finland, France, Brazil.... You can blame it on paywalls, people being more interested in social media these days and etc, but I also put some blame on fake, gimmicky racing
