Probably the individual performance of the season. Second in the 4th best car on the day, without luck.

Wow feels like a victory, what a overtake by Max and the whole drive was amazing... A lot of joy today, there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Ain't no driver on this grid or any other grid pulling this overtake off, only Max Verstappen.

Verstappen would have 4 consecutive podiums if car is not faulty at Silverstone. The Austria upgrade clearly improved the car, but it's still 4th best car overall, it is Max doing absolute crazy performances. It's a shame the car is not better by just 3-4 tenths, and Verstappen could win races regularly.

I think Red Bull should be very pleased with 2nd and 6th on a track that didn't suit them and in general with the first half of the season. Anyone expecting title contention with a brand new engine as a new manufacturer should check their recreational substance intake. They're actually in a very good position that anyone sensible would have jumped at pre season. The downforce has clearly improved since Austria, the engine is far ahead of what was expected on both performance and reliability and Hadjar looks like the solution to their second driver problems. Yeah the car needs a mechanical upgrade to help with ride control and the harvesting/deployment models need to be refined but they are on track to win races this season and potentially even challenge for the title in 2027.

If the new wind tunnel can solve their correlation issues it's plausible next year.

Would have been nice if the wind tunnel came online end of this season, would have helped design the new car from the beginning, so far it looks like the new WT will only be used for in season upgrades.

This windtunnel was commissioned in 2022. It's shocking that it takes 4 years to complete.

Think RBR are a bit land starved, not enough space to construct quicky. I think Horner made a decision to stay at MK long time ago, so they have to wait and choose for whatever industrial plot opens up for them to buy and build, RBPT is also not exactly connected to the main RBR factory.

They might have been better served building their own campus like Aston, but that time has sailed.

Days like this, that show the gap between the "really very good" and "gifted".

Brazil 2016
Austin 2021
Brazil 2024
Hungary 2026 will get added to this list in my book.

When the driver surpassed the car. There have been many great/resounding/dominating victories, but this list is exclusive to the situation where the car was sub-par and didn't deserve to finish where it did.

Atleast the macarena wing didn't fail today. I think he would have quit RBR on the spot.
