The team made so many mistakes this weekend from the pitwall
Not telling hamilton that a faster car was coming up
Starting Charles on used softs
The pitlane speed i also find strange but ok might have been hamilton his own mistake
Overall the strategy cost them alot of points again
I would even say when hamilton was losing out on verstappen to swap them and see earlier what Charles could do
Did they really start Chuck on USED softs??? Holy god. Is this even a f-ing racing team? Jesus. wtf.
Yes only Hamilton had a new set but they just use same strategy for both

Charles' options were used softs (3 laps on them) or used mediums (8 laps on them) while starting on the dirty side of the track. (Or start on the hard tire from second.) What option was better than used softs?

As you say it was the dirty side anyway so start on new hards and give options for later in the race.
It was anyway clear that he would lose places being on the dirty side of the track so even with new softs he would have

Max went from 4th to 3rd at the start from the dirty side, with new mediums. Why was it a given Charles would lose places, "even with new softs"?

Starting on hards really boxes you in strategy wise, can't react to any early SC or VSC.

Starting on USED softs is THE WORST possible option. THE WORST. Start Chuck on hards and split the damn strategies between the drivers and adapt based on what happens. Starts are no longer reliable for any team. My god. Why is this so hard for Ferrari to figure out? Even Ronald McDonald school of racing would have known this. What is happening. ](*,)

There comes a point when a team deserves to lose. Ferrari did everything in their power today to lose. They are trying to equate the drivers, and they need to just go with dry data options and develop from there. Give the team a damn chance. Both on softs is a loser strategy. I cant believe they pay these people so much to make such obviously bad decisions. They absolutely deserve a horrible finish today.

The team made mistakes this weekend, sure. The biggest factor was car not on pace though. Strategy is always great when you have a good car.
Starting in 3 laps softs was the right call, the error was using all mediums in FPs and quali. Nobody expected hard compound to be this bad, and Ferrari was the worst of top teams with C3s.

Leclerc shot himself in the foot by being forced to do two runs on mediums in Q1 and then two runs on new softs in Q2.

I think it was not his fault. On Q2, Hadjar spun in front of him and ruined his lap with yellow flags.

McLaren on the hard was around 0.6s/0.7s quicker. Shocking, shocking performance.
