Honda is going to introduce the next generation hybrid which is lighter, more efficient, more cost efficient to manufacture, and also will have two gears that the petrol engine will use. The final drive gear which it currently has and a new lower end gear that will aid acceleration. The Prelude will get this powertrain in the next 2-3 years. Needs to come sooner though.
