Would say so, but the thing is that the old Schumacher thing has.is re arisen again for Brawn Mercedes. So Heidfeld and Fisi there, with Klien posibly heading to Lotus or Campos.

This weel id recon that we are gonna have at least 4 or 5 seats confirmed, as well as Renault situation as well. Not to mention the British GP announcement, wither or not its taking place or not, more probably yes than not on that one.

This week is looking quite buisy for us already.

If Renault do sell their F1 team, i sincerely hope it is to Prodrive.. if only to keep Tung out of F1. He was quite ordinary in the recent test and doesn't deserve a drive solely thru Genii/Gravity potentially buying Renault F1.

And if Renault do sell, i sincerely hope Kubica jumps at the opportunity to get out of his contract and into the Mercedes seat.

Me too, I want to see him throughly embarassed by Rosberg like (i think) he was by Heidfeld, just so the overhyping of him can end. But Nick deserves the seat more.

i'm not taking the bait on that one, i'll support my countryman where-ever he goes.

i do agree tho, it would be a good battle of two of F1's rising/potential future stars.

Yes, they are close to each other. It's always surprised me that a company from a nation as protectionist as France, with such a long track record in the sport, didn't base their team in France.

It's just a rebranded Benetton team though isn't it...and the engines did come from France.

They were never going to lift and shift Benetton to France! :)

Just like Benetton never lifted & shifted the Toleman team to Italy.
Renault has always been more a Briatore-led team than a genuine Renault-led team.

I wonder how literal Lotus F1 will make their planned move to Malaysia from the UK..

Stupid yes, because as any person of sound mind knows, good engineers only exist in Europe, and grand prix races should only be held there, and you know what superliceses should only be given to drivers whose great grandfathers and soforth were born in europe... becaue it is their birthright.

If true it's awesome for us fans but I just cant see how this can be good for Shumi's reputation in the long term especially if he has a poor year?

Does he really need to prove anything?
He can damage his reputation only if he would do something awkward. But he's older and wiser now.
