so that means we have 4 champs on the grid next year. All of them are in winning cars. add RBR to the mix and it should be EPIC!

surely the smaller teams are cringing at the sight of this massive competition for 2010. what a disastrous year for the new teams to join the party.

There hasn't been any confirmation from Schumacher's side, so don't start celebrating just yet.

I don't want to see him come back, but just because he isn't in a Ferrari 8-[ . My mind simply doesn't want to compute that possibility.

MSC and Merc are 100% determined to make it happen, that is clear. The final test is more likely to be positive than negative. So people should better be prepared for this:

I wasn't too convinced if the Mercedes buyout of Brawn was a good idea, the Mercedes livery is crap, and i was supporting Button but if Schumacher is indeed returning to the sport i will happily cheer for him 8)

This is obviously a quick photoshop job for the occasion. Final livery will be a lot more appealing I bet.

Expect Nick Heidfeld to sign with Sauber now, and Sauber to confirm Bagette as Test & Reserve driver for 2010 as well.

Leaving Renault, Campos with a seat each and USF1 with both seats to confirm for 2010. Id expect Renault to confirm Grosjean and Campos to look at Nakajima. US1F will probably want to race anyone that can shift a toaster.

STR With Algusauri, as long as he can raise the personal sponsor money, he will race for them.

I hope that Nick will make it. His chances are dwindling as possible sponsors like Petronas are eliminated. Nick isn't bringing significant money to the team. I hope Sauber can fix this without hiring a pay driver for the second seat.

So I'm curious how Rosberg is really feeling about this move. He was set to be #1 with the exit of Jenson and the newly formed German team. He's now officially #2! sucks to be him! What a blow to his career if the 3 yr deal is actually true. I bet Rubens is gleaming with his exit as well!

I feel sorry for Rosberg, he'll either thrive by being so close to Schumacher, or be overwhelmed by the Schumi juggernaut.

Fortunately for Schumi, he's too mature to feel threatened by his team mate. Unlike Alsono v Massa and Button v Lewis.

There will be no official first or second driver at Mercedes GP. I hope that Michael treats Nico with the same respect that be developed for Massa as his team mate. I'm pretty sure he wasn't involved in the selection of the other driver this time but he will get a lot of stick by the German press if he screws with Nico or Seb. About half the fans in Germany are supporting Michael but there is strong support for the other two contenders as well. I see this as an opportunity for him to show that his wild days on track are over and that sportsmanship will play a bigger role in his values.
