Don't think so unless they sort out their relationship with the FIA.freedom_honda wrote:Is Stefan GP gonna take their place?
Man, stop trying to defend the undefendable. USF1 have applied to the FIA for a repieve so they can start their season in Europe. As good as it is trying to get an American team on the grid, you should surely question the selection process of a team with absolutely no history in a country not set up for F1 manufacture or testing. OK, in the bigger picture it is a good thing, and perhaps should be viewed in isolation to the others (perhaps).WhiteBlue wrote: The new teams will not have the problem of getting cars on the grid
The boss of the new Campos Meta 1 team has denied speculation about them lacking the funds to survive and insists they will be on the 2010 grid.

hm ...after a days before Dallara spokesman denying any open payment installments...
this seems very strange...
also they state Senna was on his way to TR as a consequence...
That needs a reality check. None of the teams would have had decent funding at the time of the application. I wouldn't expect them to get sponsors until shortly before the launch, with others being added as the season goes on. They are also reliant on pay drivers bring sponsorship and they couldn't be signed up until Dec.raceman wrote:what happened to the "great" FIA's 'due diligence'??? :^o
Off topic, but that scares my more than anything else.Fil wrote:...or Williams recently getting in bed with that Christian Wolff bloke?
We're back to the normal state of affairs before car manufacturers dominated the sport. We're seeing a nudge closer to the gargiste approach of a bloke with a fast car who will prostitute his design to anyone with cash to fund the construction. Along with wheeler dealer spivs who try to concoct money out of thin air so they can get the loot. Meanwhile drivers chase seats, each other, and girls.Fil wrote:Its just usual F1 business these days to keep teams afloat and/or adequately funded..
you can apply to any entry in any event (whether it be sports or educational) ONLY when you have necessary credentials.....None of the teams would have had decent funding at the time of the application.
