No I am almost sure this duct they are talking about is the top half of the airbox, look at the divider inside of it. If you can't see it fix your displays contrast. I think anything is possible here. Remember that adjustable front flaps are legal; meaning this is the only legal movable aero. There could be a completely radical interpretation to this allowance on the new front wing.
