I thought it was Senna -- the greatest pole master, but never checked San-Marino...
Indeed!! The greatest qualifier in F1 ever!RDJEHV wrote:senna in san marino. 7 times starting '85
I checked it with Wicki and the Encyclopedia right after I initially wrote Detroit. They both said Monaco. So I changed it and got it apparently in before you nailed it.dumrick wrote:I believe that the first win was at Monaco '87, that was the race before Detroit and where the Lotus 99T was already fitted with a fully active suspension. Anyway, I figure your answer is the right one.

1. champ driver / winning team owner
2. winning driver / winning team owner
3. champ driver/ non winning team owner
4. non winning driver/ non winning owner
Championships and race wins as owners must be named.
Well done, I could have made a pattern with 5 drivers because I did not think of Brabham driving for his own team. So he was driver and constructor champ plus champ in his own car, quite unique. The other case of champ driver later turned into team owner also existed.RDJEHV wrote:1. brabhamWhiteBlue wrote:Here is a simple question. Perhaps someone can name that and give us the specifics.
