Mclaren Mercedes MP4-25

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

They are actually different endplates, there is i think 1 less hole and they are bigger holes at that than last years.

Your right but they are based on the same theory. Interesting.

Also for the fans of the odd nose vent....here is an above shot from Friday

Nice shot Stig... It looks like they have at least the room to move the "snorkel" to the right hand side as well... I wonder why the cover on the right side is kind of domed..

well it continues, lots of new pics on sutton, new engine cover, new diffuser, judging by the old rearwing endplates and new engine cover, it looks like mclaren might have pushed to far, and is going back to more conventional solutions. The engine cover is for sure not amazing

they do not have a big top access hole ,do they ? so how do you get to maintain pedals ? I doubt they have the rockers horizontally ,as how would you access the rocker .Still the snorkel inlet is interesting...maybe it helps in optimising flow thru the cockpit area instead of having a big dead zone there?

so... they went back to last years FW... hmm...
Similar but not quite. Last years season ending front wing was a Brawn style one single element

As mentioned above; the rear has been heavily modified (diffuser/deck/winglets/exhausts...)
