I think that is MW's point. He's had support for 10 years and it has not helped him cope on his own with life’s little difficulties. He's said McL' made the mistake in the way they prepared him on a social, and independent level. His talent is extremely high. But, and I said this in 2008 I don't see the guy continuing to improve that much more just because he's young. But that is not a reason for people on this or any other forum to slag him. But then again none of the drivers actually care if fans boo them. To get the respect of your fellow drivers, and most importantly to produce is their area of focus. Whitmarsh didn't even slag him in the least. He had an opinion about the way they handled him. And an implication that they were at fault for doing for him things they should have let his own values mould.
