No, sorry I'm afraid you're just stirring - 'again'. The above rule quoted applies equally to pit lane exit and entry. You're really scraping the barrel with that 'off-track' bullshit. It means nothing, and intentionally so, but I'm afraid that's the only place you have left to go with that one. Much like Lewis really.
Therefore, according to the rules you can't pass another driver off the track, and unfortunately, when Lewis passed, he was not entirely off tracks.
I'd like to know where you get this fantasy from, but as you've just admitted Hamilton was in an off-track area anyway (I'm afraid you'll find pictures that proves that Lewis was firmly out of the pit lane and therefore off-track according to you) and maintained his track position because of it - so should he have given back the place to Vettel?

Cheers, I hadn't thought of that one.
This is my logic, what is yours?
Well, you jumped up and down demanding a rule clarification from me as to where my evidence was. It was provided by someone several pages back in that thread that no one read. You have nothing to back up what you're claiming apart from conjecture and your own bizarre interpretation of other rules which you don't quote.
Always attacking the poster. My sig is gonna be HUGE.
I quoted the rules that someone, whos name is FLC, said.
Allow me to requote them, and please point out to me where this rule is about the entrance and exit being under the same umbrella.
Entrance to the pit lane
a) The section of track leading to the pit lane shall be referred to as the “pit entry”.
b) During competition access to the pit lane is allowed only through the pit entry.
c) Any driver intending to leave the track or to enter the pit lane should make sure that it is safe to do so.
d) Except in cases of force majeure (accepted as such by the Stewards of the Meeting), the crossing, in any direction, of the line separating the pit entry and the track is prohibited.
The rule about the pit exit line, was never applied to the front, according to these rules you are speaking about.
I've basically reached the point where to me, everything you say is merely entertainment, as you have the most crass mouth and worst attitude I have seen in an online forum. I have my opinions about why things are, and you argue things in your childish, arrogant ways,. You act as you know everything, and call others poeple's posts bullshit. You are the only user on this great site with such an acid tongue, and I just don't see the need for it.
