Yes, I need to check something but I will post a question in the next hours.
Formula One's fundamental ethos is about success coming to those with the most ingenious engineering and best ..............................organization, not to those with the biggest budget. (Dave Richards)
In 1994 the FIA introduced refueling and banned the performance enhancing electronic devices such as active suspension, traction control, launch control, ABS and 4 wheel steering. This made the cars nervy and edgy to drive. With less weight, more horsepower than 1993 but with less car stability Ayrton Senna predicted that 1994 would "be a season with lots of accidents". It was a prophetic statement and should be a lasting reminder that too much power and performance without control can be fatal.
Everybody knows that Senna was the most prominent victim of the early 1994 accident series. Who were the other five men to suffered fatal or near fatal accidents in the first months after the rule changes?

I would say we should include Monaco. The Spanish race already saw some massive changes to the tracks as a quick fix.

Those are all ok. But there was another serious accident with neck injury. First to name him correctly wins.

Lamy did not get serious injury at Imola and his testing shunt at Silverstone was after Monaco. Verstappen was after Monaco as well at the German GP. He did not receive serious injury either AFAIK.

I am not aware that this occured between March-May 1994. Can you help me with the specifics?
I know of at least one more serious neck injury comparable to JJ Lehto's in the period.
