You actually should not do that because he also has the ability to put the RB6 lower down the grid than it should really be.

All this supremacy talk of Webber vs Vettel is probably down to the two questions of rain and tyres. In the rain the big advantage is lost and you need to keep a cool head which Webber often enough did not.

And Webber himself says that the 2010 tyres just suit him better like the 2009 tyres were more to Vettel's taste.

In an interview with German AMuS Webber explains (my translation).
Mark Webber wrote: The new generation of tyres suit my driving style better. Bridgestone modified the construction and the compounds during the winter. The front tyres don't bite as fiercely as they did last year. The rear tyre has more lateral stability. Sebastian prefers it the other way round.
That explanation sounds quite reasonable to me. Apart from that they are both great drivers and both have not capitalized as much as they should from sitting in the best 2010 car. This is why in my chart Alonso and Hamilton get better ratings.

Btw, the tyre story is consistent with Massa, Vettel and Schumacher having their hands full to keep their team mates in check. It looks like Schumacher slowly comes to grip with the tyres but Massa only copes when he is on very soft tyres for the first rounds when they are still fresh. It rests to be seen how Vettel gets on with it but it could be a decisive factor giving drivers confidence to unlock the potential of the car.
Formula One's fundamental ethos is about success coming to those with the most ingenious engineering and best .............................. organization, not to those with the biggest budget. (Dave Richards)

Impossible. He's just a human. He does only what his car is capable to do.

I think really the misconception is that the car is a limit and drivers are somehow able to surpass their cars' limits. Physics is physics. The car will have a limit no matter who is driving that. It's just that the drivers who AREN'T as talented will qualify the cars less than they deserve.

I'm not suggesting he is superhuman or something like that but based on the cars actual race pace Webber was able to qualify average cars higher up the grid than they should have been and certainly did a much better job than every team mate he's ever had except Vettel. If you look at his qualifying record up to 2008 he has comprehensively smashed every team mate he's ever been paired with!

At the end of the day the driver makes a difference, those of us who were fortunate enuf to watch Senna saw him drag underpowered customer Ford engined McLaren's in '93 to grid places where no-one thought possible and even win 5 races!!

But I do not believe who else could win a race when he drive a car like F60.

Spa is a Horsepower track so not really a fair comment imo.

My point about Kimi being a Diva is well founded, to get fired from Ferrari all you have to do is never show up to the factory, ignore your fans and the team sponsors and generally not be a team player .... I rest my case!
