Driving an F1 car on the sand is just amazing with blue sea around - wow! I can imagine how fortunate Alguersuari is to drive an F1 car on the beach.

zgred, as usual, nice photos. thanx.

Jeje, exactamente. Interesante que mencionés lo del frankie, because in the pictures i've seen it's using rear pushrod suspension, I wonder if it's just an older suspension or if it's a suspension they use for this type of thing, with more adjustability for higher ride heights and added compliance. Also one guy went as far as saying 'here's the engine it uses' and showed a pic of an old cossie. I doubt it used that v10, most likely they just carried it around for display purposes, worth mentioning though.

I really do not know how that car got going... putting that amount of torque and horse power onto sand... why did it not just dig a hole?

In the Red Bull event here in Argentina they used the V10 cossie, too. A higher torque of the V10 + cheaper older engine helps for donuts and spins and keeps costs down.
