Hey all. Just interested in this question here. Red Bull as we all know so far has been utterly dominating qualifying almost in the same way McLaren won all races bar one in 1988. Or 89. I forget. Will they ever miss out on pole position though? (Barring qualifying mistakes such as Ferrari/McLaren's mistake in Malaysia)
Some people are saying Spa and Monza are the places to see this happening, but if we remember back to Spa last year the car was clearly amazingly fast around there and their high speed stability will certainly work wonders for them there. Vettel, some say should've been on pole there.
I think however Monza could be the one to catch them out, but then I wonder if they could use practically 0 AOA and just depend on their body-wide downforce and diffuser downforce, as their car would probably have enough downforce then anyways? Also, Abu Dhabi I'm thinking might catch them out due to the ultra high speed Sector 2.
What do you all think?
