StefanGP Better than HRT?

Post

I wish Stefan GP would be racing this season.
They were ready to go but Bernie declined them and brought in a crappy team which they did not do any testing before the season and they also should not race this year.

I think that HRT and BMW will not race again next season beacuse of too many problems. StefanGP would have done a better job than these two teams and probably end up in the middle.

Racing with what? They've shipped some tables and chairs in that container for Bahrain.

HRT was never awarded anything campos meta was and hrt bought them. Stefan never followed procedure and acted like pompous fools sending "cars" to Bahrain.

Their padded looking books and fake companies made them look very shady. I would have liked to see the new toyota chassis though

yep, they would have beaten anybody with a incredibly quick cup of tea on the grid :D

But seriously, why cant people understand that StefanGP was nowhere near serious? A company that made 500 dollar profit last year and has one employee has to be a team? Who were going to built those toyotas together, Ants?

I too had an application with bernie which went down to the wire. After taxes, my earning for 2009 were 725 bucks, so that's better than StefanGP.

If Stefan GP had quickly hired Peter Windsor as Team manager after the collapse of USF1, I'm sure they would have made it to the grid.

Imagine that for a dream team?

Surely Stefan GP would have been a total flop. Knowing what the team was up to, how their finances were going, they could only put a cart on the grid.

The only thing I'm disappointed with is that no one managed to buy the Toyota Formula One group and race the car, even just as far as it got, without any further development. Only from seeing the car and knowing the experience of the team, one can hardly doubt the TF110 would have been faster than any new team.

A dream team?? Thats all it could have been! A DREAM! Stefan had NO car, NO money, and Windsor also had NO car and NO money. At least HRT got their act together and produced a car in 8 months, whereas Windsor couldnt produce a car in five years. The sport is far better off without bothe these nobodies!

Stefan GP were sadly just lie upon lie. For a start their finances seemed to completely dodgy. Basically I think they were claiming to be involved in things that they weren't.

That would not be hard to achieve :D After all, in Monaco the new F1 teams were slower than the first 5-6 GP2 cars!!!!!

Actually HRT is doing pretty well considering they did not design the chasis, they did not have any test and money and aparently have no support/info from Dallara.

Food for thought - excluding when they had technical failures (Chandhok on Sunday and Monaco IIRC), both Hispanias made the 107% mark in the last three races.
