Canadian GP, friday evening pics

Hey everyone,

For years now I've been reading and collecting pictures from this board so I figured it was my turn to give a little back.

I'm a mechanic on a Formula Ford team here in Canada and we were a support event for the Montreal F1 race this past weekend. During our practice, qual and race I'm standing only a few meters from the F1 garages while the mechanics are busy working on the cars. Unfortunately I was also quite busy looking after our 8 car team. So no real time to take a lot of pictures. And the race officials don't waste any time getting us in and out pit lane.

Luckily, on friday evening we were the last ones on the track, so I was able to walk along the F1 garages and snap a few pics. Most are posted here....

I also managed to sneak into the garage area and watch the cars go through FIA tech inspection on Thursday evening. But I had forgoten my camera.
