Alonso was unlucky and Hamilton was honest, you can believe this but it is not the first time FIA helps Hamilton and modify the rules once Hamilton has pissed on them.

Compare this to two years ago when Hamilton was having the book thrown at him for every single thing he did wrong? How easily people forget these things when the shoe is on the other foot [-X

That was rather the point. Ferrari used what is, in effect, a loop hole in order to carry out in-season testing.

This is no worse or better than things being alleged of drivers.

What does annoy slightly is Ferrari's holier-than-thou attitude when others make use of loop-holes or when asked to defend their own use of loop-holes.

That's racing, its motorsport, hard fighting on the limit of grip and the rules to be fastest at any cost.
When you don't like it watch something else but don't whine when you are not tough enough.

Another example being their wheel rims. Ferrari signed up to a FOTA agreement not to run wheel covers this year. Everyone else has complied, yet Ferrari decided to use a loop hole to effectively build the same thing only making it part of the wheel rims instead of a separate carbon fibre cover. This is clearly against the spirit of the rules, but is a valid loophole in the agreement they signed up to.
