Unfortunately all our ill informed discussion on this issue simply reinforces that there is a problem. The FIA have locked in a performance disparity that has the potential to drive out manufactures.
Formula 1 may be getting away with it at the moment, but how long do you think Mercedes Benz would tolerate being in F1 if they were the weakest engine. There is no way to equalise each engine directly without making them all the same engine!
