Did anyone else notice this? I saw it on F1 debreif on SPEED channel.
At Hockenheim, after the infamous "Fernando. Is. Faster. Than. You." message from Smedley to Massa, Alonso passes, looks in his mirror then says to his engineer: "What happen to Felipe? He miss a gear or something?".
I thought that was hilarious, kinda clever of them to play it like that.
Your thoughts?

Confused_Andy, I know people saw what happened, I didnt know if anyone saw the radio transmission from Alonso to the team trying to cover up the fact that it was a team order ordeal.

Best not to say anything really - to me it shows that wrapped up in their own world these guys really don't fully understand how everything is dissected by the fans. Certainly if you asked them they would say they know the world is watching - but I really don't think the understand how minutely everything is looked at.
