An easy one.
I just want the date this (cropped) photo was taken.

14 May 1961. Must have been that day because it was not so warm during practice. Still, Rob Walker did take the precaution of consulting the Clerk of the Course in case the removal of the panels contravened the regs.

Your are of course spot on Gary. Over to you.
By way of making up for the delay in my reply, here's the last of six long clips of the race. There's a lot of footage here I've not seen before.

Who am I?

In only my first season in Formula One, I was involved in a crash on the public roads in which my car rolled several times, finally landing in a river. I was thrown out and broke my neck. Amazingly, in the first car on the scene there were two medical specialists on their way home from a conference on spinal injuries. They ensured I was not moved by paramedics until the right equipment arrived by helicopter. Without them, I would probably have ended up as a quadriplegic.

So who am I?

THX Gary.

Double jinx.
He broke both ankles in F1 crash, just to repeat bad luck at the same track two years later with two broken feet. Four years later he crashed really badly while rallying with multiple injuries including two broken legs. Now he is working as a F1's TV commentator. Who is he?

My first guess would be Mr Brundle - he made a nasty mess of his ankles and feet at Dallas but I never had him down for a rally crash!

I refuse to wiki....!
