The answer is Vanwall in 1958, however I believe it is Gary's turn still as the 2 dy time limit is not yet up.

Name one of Ferrari's most famous engines and it's designer. The engine configuration was innovative and had never before been used in F1. In it's first year it yielded a WDC. The engine was used in F1, rally cars, sports cars and road cars.

Flat-twelve engine?

PS: Curiously, Ferrari won the 1964 World championship with by competing the last two races in cars painted not in the traditional Rosso corsa but in white and blue.

I've never heard of Flat-12 rally cars.
My guess would be V6 and Vittorio Jano.

Come on z, a 1.5 liter flat-twelve engine in road-, rally- and sportscars, I doubt it?

It must be the V6 "Dino".
