As he did in 2009 with a car which has not been developed at all and that too with a 6th fastest car !

Kimi season 1 with Ferrari 1 WDC 6 wins (arguably last one gifted)
Alonso so far with 2 wins (which both are gifted) and no hope in WDC

Kimi was brilliant in the last part of 2007 whereas Alonso is crumbling under pressure and he again excelled in the last half on 2009 when the team changes to favour him
07 and 10 seasons are not comparable.. The Ferrari in 2007 was the dominant car from day one.. (win/pole/fastestlap in first race) and they kept that going until the end..
This year the ReadBulls are clearly in front of everyone else and Mclaren has also been faster than Ferrari in many races.

Wrong there. [-X Raikkonen only has 4 but Schumacher has 6.

But wasnt Alonso supposed to turn the team around and with his wast technical knowledge and god like skills , wasnt he supposed to win there no matter what!...Isnt he the chosen one! =P~ (p.S these were the claims by his fans)

Schumy holds the most number of wins at 6 with Kimi 5 not 4!

Siskue, please calm down and even just for one second attempt to see and understand other peoples opinions.

Alonso nor Ferrari ever said he would be the solution any problems. They just weren't getting along with Raikkonen and felt it would be better to bring Alonso a year early. You prefer Raikkonen over Alonso, fine, but please be rational and mature about this.

Raikkonen won in 2004, 2005, 2007 and 2009. That's 4. When was number 5?

Unfortunately Alonso has yet to develop the skill which dictates the performance of his competitors. It is not his fault that RedBull and Mclaren develop faster cars in 2010.
Kimi has 4 wins, and one of those was a gift from team orders. Senna had 5 if I am not mistaken.

I think siskue is not aware of that...
No point confronting him, rage and anger are clearly visible while he's writing about Alonso...

and yes siskue, just like Hamilton fans, Button fans, Vettel fans, Massa fans, Schumacher fans and all the other driver fans think THEIR driver is the best, and by their opionion "the chosen one" for the team, same thing goes for Alonso and his fans... You probably can't understand and accept that it's in human nature to praise people that they cheer on and follow the sport for, it's just the way it is. People like you hold a big grudge against Alonso and his ego and only God knows what else, but you forget that he's a human too, and prone to mistakes just like all of us... So stop being like that... All of you...

Re: I'm supporting not-Alonso

This is bound to invite more scorn from the Alonso-basher brigade, but James Allen succinctly explained what happened last weekend at Spa:

Fernando Alonso wasn’t so lucky, he saved his new set of tyres for later in the session and rainfall prevented him from improving. This was bad luck. But Alonso was in the position of only having one set to decide when to use, because he had used a set of new tyres earlier in Q2, which he would not normally do, but had been concerned about making the cut.

So the result was that the car which had set the fastest times on Friday and looked a contender for victory, started the race tenth on the grid as a result of a series of decisions.

The following day, during the race, he and the team were forced into a quick decision after he was hit by Rubens Barrichello at the end of the opening lap.

Going into the weekend, Alonso had said that the driver who gambles would win, but he was forced into a gamble by this early stop. It had started raining and they gambled that the rain would fall for a long time, so fitted a set of intermediate tyres. It didn’t rain any more and he was back in for slick tyres three laps later. This dropped him to 20th place, another opportunity to win a race or at least get a podium, gone. Although luck played a part here, Alonso would be the first to admit that some of the decision making this year has cost him.

Thought Alonso's pole today would be a good reason to bump this thread and give the detractors a place to spew their gall.
