If Button wins every race from now on and Hamilton comes in second, Mclaren will win both titles, and will have given both drivers equal chances, and risen above the likes of Ferrari lame public team orders, and stuck to their guns.
Some teams are just not as good at acting like the McLaren team.

Lewis Hamilton: "If I back off is Jenson going to pass me or not?"
McLaren: "No Lewis, no"

Just saying..

Then, they will find a cure for AIDS and establish world peace. Because McLaren would never do something so lame as issue team orders. Just ask Heikki or David.

Mclaren needs to get their CAR upgraded now. That should be their priority. Make the diffuser more efficient so they don't have to run the car so stiff, and make a flexi-wing. Lewis has been, and will be more often than not be ahead of Jenson anyway.

The diffuser isn't inefficient, mind you. It's just hungry. It's so big that it can't be fed quickly enough at high ride heights.

It's hard to get behind your driver when he chooses to drive through his fellow racers.

Well, I guess you can get behind him and push him back to the pit lane.

Now it's even more important that McLaren chooses a driver be it Button or Hamilton. Can't have two drivers taking points away from each other while RBR focuses on Webber and Ferrari focuses on Alonso.

I don't think RBR is anywhere close to focusing on Webbo

I tend to agree with you, otherwise they would have stuffed up Vettels last minute pitstop to give extra points to Webber.

I think, we have a good base for an interesting finish to the season, I would put some money on Alonso/Ferrari to pull another 2007.

I'm thinking they'll come close, but no cigar. Not saying Alonso isn't capable, just that I don't see it happening this year.
