Wow! Red Bull not as dominant as expected. In many ways, having Alonso and Vettel scrapping at the front and having Webber and Button behind him is not too bad for Hamilton. Starting from the clean side of the grid will be helpful too.

Will we see Vettel try to chop Hamilton off the line? You'd be a brave man to bet against it.

Hopefully the race will be as exciting as the qualifying was.

looks like Ferrari has the biggest sandbags  - good job from Alonso
Webber has is work cut out tomorrow, it will be interesting to see how good his start is.
Decent job from the old man (MSC)
A bit dissapointed by the showing of Renault/Kubica - compared with Monaco
Stellar job from Kobayashi - hat´s off to him, well done

Lewis could be in a good position, as the race pace of the Mclaren has usually been quit good. Vettel could be in trouble if he has his usual bumper car action.

Great stuff from Rubens, I like that Williams is starting to show form again after so many years of mediocrity. Hulk looked messy every session. Frustrated and overdriving the car.

Also, Alonso will have trouble without Bulk being there to guard his rear flank.

Seems that the McLarens (especially Hamilton) were up to speed after all...Right there with the Bulls and Ferrari.Great qualifying session and i hope for an even greater race tomorrow (without Vettel doing his stupid stunts and taking Alonso or Hamilton out)!!

I'd go and bet good money on Alonso winning tomorrow right now if I didn't fear mechanical problems. Kettle with his bad starts and on the dirty side is only a threat to Hamilton's well being. Plus Alonso seems faster for race.

BTW has anyone got video footage of Massa's incident before he stopped completely? Did his tires block or something? Or was he just lame?

It seems to be an electronics problem associated with the gearbox so they shouldn't have to change the engine yet, though seeing as Massa is at the back anyway they have nothing to loose by doing an engine change. Apparently a sinmilar thing happened yesterday with Alonso. It was seemingly an experimental part that went wrong.

Tomorrow's race will be interesting; the redbull is still the fastest car out there.
Alonso got a really lucky pole because Vettel hit the wall messing up his lap.
What I think will happen is Vettel's car will be the fastest in the first stint.
He will hound Alonso for position and could cause and accident.
No matter how we lucky at it, Vettel's car is more than like 4 or 5 tenths a lap faster than Alonso's.
Alonso being the better driver simply got more out of the car when it counted.
Webber is also in a faster car than at least one of the Mclarens. He'll hound Button for position as well.
Interesting race we have on our hands indeed. The cars are so shuffled in terms of speed and grid position that pit stops could decide who wins or loses.
For Sure!!

I might get flamed for this, but even as a back-marker Bruno has been disappointing to watch this year can't ride that senna name for too long son.

Compare him to his team-mates and he is doing well (if you ignore Klein but he has a fair bit of race experience). Give him a chance, he is still in his first year and I don't think he is riding the Senna name at all, more like some observers are making an unfair and ridiculous comparison.
