I was watching the race (Bahrain), and I saw that Takuma Sato had 6 pit stops on the graphics screen at the bottom, therefore he gets my driver of the day award!!! The chap still has that magic touch lol
Simon: Nils? You can close in now. Nils?
John McClane: [on the guard's phone] Attention! Attention! Nils is dead! I repeat, Nils is dead, ----head. So's his pal, and those four guys from the East German All-Stars, your boys at the bank? They're gonna be a little late.
Simon: [on the phone] John... in the back of the truck you're driving, there's $13 billon dollars worth in gold bullion. I wonder would a deal be out of the question?
John McClane: [on the phone] Yeah, I got a deal for you. Come out from that rock you're hiding under, and I'll drive this truck up your ass.

Well, because it is a lot easier to ambush somebody from the pits, than it is when the other driver knows you're there.

Can I split my vote? On one hand, Kimi is an obvious choice having achieved something truly amazing, but on the other hand, Nico was just amazing.

Fernando. He drove a near perfect race, maintained his discipline, and out-duelled Shu at the end. And he must have drove the last 3/4 of the race with a soiled driver's suit, after watching Massa plought across his nose.
Good drives also from Shu, Kimi, Button, and Rosberg. Decent performances from Webber, Klein, Villeneuve, and Coulthard.

Most lucky: Fernando Alonso. Being tied with Schumacher after 40 laps to the exact tenth of a second...
Most efficient: Kimi Raikkonen. Last to third...
Most brilliant: Nico Rosberg. Come on guys, fastest lap...
Most surprising: Michael Schumacher. He is baaaack, like Jason...
Most mediocre: Jenson "I`m gonna do it" Button. Now he has the car, so it should be (shake 8-ball)....
Most honourable: Jacques Villeneuve. The only guy that can stop Kimi without a decent car...

my vote goes to nico, pretty sweet drive, amazing talent. and he's only 20 right? definitely one to watch in future!!

kimi's drive was pretty nice aswel, 22 to 3 at the finish, altho im abit skeptical if he could hav gone ne better without the problems he had. not critisising his drive or nething, but i reckon because he ddnt hav to go thru all the strategic problems with the final qual session, he had a better race...could just fuel to absolute max then do a one stopper, which was obviously fastest if you could do it. (plus he was pretty lucky with traffic)

alonso and shumi's drives...i suppose you guys already know...

neway, thats my opinions ;)

Nico for driving that Williams and Cosworth like he stole it. (fast lap)
Kimi for another amazing drive.
To be fair, I am a die hard Montoya fan, but today he laid down. How in the world could he let Kimi beat him like a red headed step child. I sure hope they find something out like it was down 50Hp to kimis car or something. :D

It has to be Rosberg.
Kimi was great and if someone like Button or Fisi had set the fastest lap instead of Nico, Kimi would get my vote, but it was Rosberg's first F1 race.
Having a former World Champ as a Dad may help with lots of things (getting sponsorship, karts as a kid etc) and having driven the circuit before helps, but in his first F1 race he went from last to 7th and set the fastest lap.
Was the Williams rated before Bahrain? Not really.
Were great things expected from Nico? No. (Hoped for, but not expected)

Did he deliver?
HELL YES!

Nico - no question. Shame we didn't see more of it.......

Alonso, Michael & Kimi only did what you expect them to do (2 world champs & one who will be....) - drive brilliantly

Yeah, Nico of course.
He didn't just made a flying lap in the race, he held the fastest lap for most of the race and improved it on the end. His errors were natural for a rookie, but its pace was astonishing!
