You are just speculating because no one here knows the truth about the details in the contracts.. So you are saying also that Kimi moved to Ferrari because he knew Shumi was leaving..?
everyone is entitled to an opinion but don't try to pass it as fact..

Point is, Alonso has always moved teams on the understanding that he will get the control he desires. That's why he was only at McLaren for one season.

IMO, both Mclaren and Alonso did not want each other after the Hungary/FIA fiasco..

I hate alonso!
if you look at his victory record you'll notice that many of his wins came from the 1st place car retiring, giving alonso the win... its pathetic, he doesnt deserve any recognition for being a "cherry picker", and he's always so full of himself... his ego is just a little too big...

Do you expect him to retire into the pits in sympathy? Thereby being less of an egoist by doing so?
Please.

yeah, he is terrible, only winning 12 of his 26 career wins from pole.... he should just quit driving due to shame!

I'm afraid that's the way it works. Drivers always know the situation they're walking into. Alas, Alonso didn't know who Lewis Hamilton was at the time he signed. :D That part has little to do with contracts so I don't know why you're claiming that this is speculation about contracts.
So you are saying also that Kimi moved to Ferrari because he knew Shumi was leaving..? everyone is entitled to an opinion but don't try to pass it as fact..
We can't prove that Raikkonen didn't know that Schumacher wouldn't be there when he signed and that Alonso didn't know that Raikkonen wouldn't be there when he signed. Everyone always ends up saying that it's all opinions. :D

Unfortunately, Raikkonen and Alonso not knowing is not a fact either in the way that you're trying to imply. The net effect is that's the way it all worked out so we work on the balance of what probably happened. When you sign over a year in advance you want to know what things will be like when you get there.

Oh you are angry aren't you? How's that ulcer coming along?

Sure Alonso is a tool and is not the most ethical of drivers, and seems to have quite a bit of luck and is currently residing extremely far up his own derrier and is amazingly not stick when the muck sarts flying and seems to always manipulate his team and/or team mate but he is quick.

I don't really like him either, but pilfering wins from other drivers when they hit trouble is part of the game. He deserves full credit for recovering from all the early season mistakes he made.

hecti, I believe you meant to log on to F1 Emotional. This site is F1 Technical, and while opinions may be allowed they should at least be backed up with some shred of logic.

Re: I'm supporting not-Alonso

I have just noticed a pattern :

Of the 5 drivers still in contention for the F1 world championship, 3 of them have been world champion. These 3 drivers have 4 titles between them ... Each of these world titles were clinched at the Brazillian GP.

The next race is in Brazil, but the only driver who could mathematically secure the championship that weekend is the one in a scarlet car.

The omens aren't looking good for team Not-Alonso.

You can still predict that Alonso might not win the next two races though.

He does not need to .. Lewis can win one and Vettel can win the other one and he'll still be WDC. if he finishes in the podium in both.

Why would Lewis be likely to win either of the next two races?
