I do.
However the odds are it will not come to this.
But if it does the expression on Kettle's face in the post race interview will make Felipe's after Germany seem like he was overjoyed

I see Webber's problem in his age. Probably if he can't win it this year, he'll never will. So he will be desperate to win it this year, and I can't imagine that he could let pass anybody. He will be very dangerous, because this is probably his last chance. Vettel is young, he could win it anytime in next few years, and also I don't see that hunger in Vettel's eyes as I see it in Hamilton's or Alonso's.

if Alonso Drops and Webber is leading(shall be legitiem RB is not goint to ask Vettel to give position to MW(Is against the compant marketing decission is not about F1) , and Vettel within 2 sec thay shall race and show, who is the best, the only team order will be not compromisse/smash their cars.
but will legitime to race, will be thrilling, and funny for divers and fans.
I believe Vettel will love to became Champiom beating MW on the track and I belive he can do it.
will be hounered for long time doing that too.

Predict and hope that McLaren will be strong, to keep Alonso on 5th place. But no, HAM wins and leaves nothing to the RedBulls #-o

Don't forget this year's Macca suffers a lot from bumpiness, and it thrives on the smooth circuits. And the car will be a monster in Sector 2. But lately Mercedes seem to have caught up in the speedtraps department so I'm not too sure. Anyone placing any bets on when the championship will be decided? Last lap a la Glock?
It was just an answer to the noise in the forum! Who deserves what and why... Vettel the badboy aka "The Finger" Yawn!

Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

I've written a blog post detailing one potential outcome of Sunday's race. I've already posted it on autosport, so apologies for cross-posting, but I thought you guys could find it interesting! It certainly demonstrates (I hope, at least) hope open the title race stills is, the scenarios which could develop among the title contenders during the race, and the questions which the title decider could provoke. Give it a read, if you've got five minutes.

well on the one hand you have vettel's pride, dislike of webber and the fact that its never a good thing to have ur team mate beat you in the WDC.

on the other you have the fact that while he didnt win it will still be better to have a teamate winning in terms of sponsorships and media attention. and the fact that he is seen as a team player.

its all a very personal decision and one, in my opinion, he'll only make if the situation presents itself. he's gonna think, and rightly so, that the championship is hs for the taking and focus on getting the race win. if in the closing laps he doesnt see a possiblity of the WDC win then only i think he will start thinking about this decision.

ok last hypothetical situation. same as before. closing laps yada yada.

1 WEB
2 ALO
3 VET

in this situation i see vettel going balls to the wall to pass alo. even if he takes him out and has to travel to italy with brazialian GP style security next year, he will be a hero in the eyes of the RBR faithful and the team win back (some) support in Aus.

Personally this is what id like to see. not ALO getting taken out by VET but just ALO vs VET on one of hardest tracks to pass in the F1 circus. i hope this happens.

anyway you look at it its gonna be a nail biting bollock twitching finish to the season even if the on track action lives up to the tracks moniker of yawn marina.

sorry mate is not impossible but no likly
a) there are not idiots in f1
b)red bull care about the brand, the team and in 3rd drivers
c)RB's owner was clear , no team orders (he pays the bills)so, no team orders
doesn’t meant that Webber can not make pole and drive in first, that is a matter of him(he did several times this year) and the team tweaking the car, that is possible and likely
d)RB’s owner will love watching Vettel coming in second and fighting for first with MW
I am 100% of that. I’ll do it in his place(again he pays the bills and for the show too and that will be the best F1 show ever)
e)this is his best scenario will be remembered for long time no matter who wins and RB will take a large advantage( he pays for branding not for sports)

I do for one simple reason, Vettel is signed up with RBR till 2013 and to retain RB's emotional support he must be seen to be doing his best for the team even if that means Webber get RB's 1st WDC - to let Nando snatch it would not be in the best interests of the Team imo.

if the FIA has access to all that data, they could check if those temps were really getting high

surely someone here can tell me if that's even possible...

After the race Vettel eluded to him moving over if the situation were to warrant it, he said the situation was quite "clear"...when pressed he was quite cheeky, saying we will find out. Now Newey has come out hopeful Vettel will be "magnanimous".

"IF" and thats a big if, Vettel is leading Webber 1st and 2nd with Alonso higher than 5th, he will move over...RBR can pump out all the PR rubbish they like, they still desperately want that WDC.

I just hope Webber can do it on his own back, i couldn't imagine how frustrating it must be to constantly be out qualified by half a tenth...really that is all that has seperated the two in qualifying and race results.

Agreed, I imagine that If Webber was the same height and weight* as Vettel the usual 2/100ths of a second difference would likely be in Webbers favour!

*Webber is 11kg's heavier and 9cm's taller than Vettel giving him a higher CoG and less ballast to play with.
