. With added black that will look like VR. So they'll probably use a lot of black with a bit of chrome and that acid grapefruit.
Actually Panda, the paint color of "GM School Bus Yellow" was exactly the same as the Mclaren "orange" and was what Mclrean mechanics told restorers of classic cars like the M6A to use to paint them. School busses are more of an orange and their named color is somewhat of a misnomer. Another similar color was "Rylands Traffic Yellow".
Mclarens have been orange and yellow and a google search shows this to be a long and tiresome journey to get the actual color that was used.
The problem is that the original color was a cellulose paint and every drop has faded and doesn't look like it did when applied and raced, so old photos are all we have to go on.
There doesn't seem to be s straight answer anywhere that I can find.
