de la Rosa talks about the importance of F1 drivers making the right and timely call to pit for tyre change or risk losing 5 to 6 seconds a lap. I think this is going to create some difficult situation for both drivers and team.
Here are a few which I hope will happen.
1) Both drivers calling to pit on the same lap. And it will be interesting to see how team will decide who should come in first, should it be first call basis or grid position?
2) Since tyre degration is worth about 5 to 6 second, it should now be easier for team to use pit stop to enforce team order if assuming there no.1 driver is not in a favourable pit position. Hope to hear some shouting on radio or driver pit with no crews on standby.
3) The quicker driver of the team is losing out grid position due to excessive tyre wear.
