Apparently one of the Saubers lost part of the engine cover, check the C30 thread for images.

could this fit? got it from a side view, deduced from the 660mm of the tire
wheelbase 3503mm and length 5137.529 mm

did anyone else notice at the begining of FP1 on the BBC coverage the guy with what looked like a electic hacksaw working on the floor just infront of the rear wheel lol

As with many parts, they go to and from as needed or just to test different combinations on different cars. Hardly anything is permanent, especially engine covers.
