FP2 was a lot closer.

I guess Ferrari were still using the test tires then? Pfff.

Both Mclaren was ahead of the RBR during Australia FP2, so cant really read much into the time at the moment. Hope it will be close.

Webber and Vettel were both on the Hard tyre when they did their times and Button did his time on the softs so it isn't a real indication of the two cars speed in comparison with each other.

Dry and 32 deg C. At least that's what autosport was reporting.

Actually, at the end of FP2 air temperature was 33 degrees Celsius, track temp. 42 degrees. That's what they said at Polish TV coverage.

I thought they all set their fastest times on the softs. Perhaps more importantly McLaren were right with Red Bull on the long runs that they all did at the end of the session, although it looked like McLaren may have slightly higher tyre wear this time out. I wonder if Red Bull will go for a setup that gives up a little quali performance for better tyre wear and so we'll see McLaren closer in qualifying but with Red Bull having a slight edge in the race.

Those are softs. Pirelli have painted a gold line on the outside of the softs. You can see this on the front right tyre on the front on photo.

I still think brake disk. It happened at both cars in the braking zone.

It was a failure with the front uprights to the suspension which also affected Heidfeld - Source and another source.

No doubt. McLaren are also the team more likely to be able to make a setup improvement overnight as they still have much more to learn about their car.

At the moment it looks like McLaren will be able to push Red Bull very hard in the race, regardless of how close they can get to them in qualifying. Looks like those two have a clear lead at the front of the field and, to me and judging by Alonso's comments, it looks like Ferrari really are off the pace and struggling relatively to where they want to be.

Yeah, pretty remarkable. Also maybe a quite big toe-in, or it's just the angle ?
