F1 Prediction League 2011

I am setting up a F1 fantasy league between a number of forums using zdkf1. I'd like to invite the members from f1technical to take part.

To play, register on zdkf1 and start your nickname with "f1tec".

For each race you choose the pole position, pole time, and top 10 drivers. The drivers are divided into 5 different classes, and you get more points for more risky (and hence less likely) guesses, which makes the points system far more balanced than many other fantasy f1 games.

Deadline for predictions for the Australian GP is on Thursday March 24th at 10PM GMT.

correct me if i'm wrong but wasnt the fastest lap last year 1:28.358 by Webber??? and being that the cars are "slower" this year wouldnt the time be alot closer to the 1:29- 1:30 range

Pole time for Australia will be shot in the dark for everyone as there is no way to know how much the drivers will push the fast-degrading pirelli tyres.

New tires, KERS, and DRS...hard to predict the pole time with so many changes.

Australia results:
Not a good opening weekend for the 3 members of the f1technical team: the highest f1tec scorer was theminister with 20 points.

The concerns over predicting the pole time proved to be true, with only zorog scoring any points for qualifying.
